We are the only place in Georgia baking authentic and fresh Sangak Bread daily, so it certainly is another reason for you to try Persian flavors at Taaj Market and Restaurant.We have also had a lot of people asking what is Sangak bread? It’s name consists of two parts, Sang in Persian means Stone or Pebble and Sangak means little stone. The bread is baked on small bed of river stones in oven. Sangak bread was traditionally the bread of the Persian Royal family and the earliest mention of this bread dates back to 19th century! Sangak Bread is eaten along with Lamb Kabab.
